Today's show begins with the founder of Changing Winds Advocacy Center, Christine Rose, whose organization is dedicated to helping the children of the Lakota Sioux Nation in South Dakota, one of the poorest groups of Native peoples in the US, and one of the most impoverished in the US. She is currently conducting a massive clothing drive as the weather is bitterly cold and the 10,000 children who need warmth and clothing have only the barest of threads.
